More than 100 small tow boats (MTL or motor tug light) built for the U.S. Army Transportation Corps. Intended for towing supplies on small barges in the canals, waterways and rivers of Europe after the invasion, they were made of wood with diesel engines and crews' quarters. Built by Hodgson-Greene-Haldiman Shipyard.
